Chimney Sweep Network Terms
These terms apply to chimney sweeps who join the TimberCulture Chimney Sweep Network
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. About the Network
The TimberCulture Chimney Sweep Network ("the Network") is operated by TimberCulture Ltd ("TimberCulture", "we", "us" or "our"). It connects homeowners with local chimney sweeps and lets participating sweeps refer their customers to TimberCulture in return for rewards.
Joining the Network does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of TimberCulture. You remain an independent business responsible for your own work, insurance, qualifications and customers.
Contact: info@timberculture.co.uk, 07927572104, Warren House Farm, Peckfield, Micklefield, Leeds, LS25 4BN.
2. Applying to join
To apply you must be a genuine chimney sweep or stove professional trading in the UK, and the information you give in your application must be accurate and complete.
You must hold appropriate insurance (including public liability) and any qualifications or memberships you state on your application. You must tell us if this insurance or these qualifications lapse or change.
Applications are reviewed by TimberCulture. We may verify your business, contact, insurance and qualification details, and we may ask for supporting documents. We may accept or reject an application at our discretion.
3. Verification and your account
Only verified sweeps appear in the public sweep finder. Verification means we have checked the information you provided; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of your services.
We may re-check your details from time to time, and may suspend or remove verified status if information becomes out of date, inaccurate or cannot be confirmed.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the information shown on your profile being accurate and up to date.
4. Your public profile
Your public profile shows the details you choose to publish, such as your business or trading name, public description, public contact details, website and social links, service areas, qualifications and photos.
Your private details — including your business address, account email, application notes and admin records — are never shown publicly.
You are responsible for the content you publish on your profile. It must be accurate, lawful and yours to use. Photos must not infringe anyone's rights and must not show private individuals without their permission.
You can edit or remove published information from your dashboard at any time.
5. What you can expect from us
We will show your profile to customers searching for a chimney sweep in your service area, while the Network is active and your account is verified and in good standing.
We will provide you with a personal referral code and referral link so your customers can get a discount and you can earn rewards under the Referral programme terms.
We cannot promise any number of profile views, customer enquiries, referrals or rewards.
6. What we expect from you
Act professionally and lawfully. Do not misrepresent TimberCulture, our products, prices or the Network.
Only recommend TimberCulture to your own genuine customers and contacts. Do not spam, cold-message or pressure anyone, and do not use the Network to market unrelated services.
Do not copy, resell or misuse our branding, content or customer data beyond the materials and links we provide for the Network.
7. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove your profile and Network membership if you breach these terms, provide inaccurate or misleading information, behave unprofessionally towards our customers, misuse the referral programme, or if keeping your profile live would harm our customers or our reputation.
If your membership ends, your profile is removed from the public sweep finder and your referral code stops working. Any pending rewards are handled under the Referral programme terms.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, including how the Network operates. We will tell Network members about material changes by email or in the app.
Continuing to participate in the Network after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Liability
The Network introduces customers to independent sweeps. TimberCulture is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any chimney sweeping work carried out by Network members.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales.
Questions about the Network or these terms: info@timberculture.co.uk or 07927572104.
